Ashley was born 2 months ahead of schedule, weighing just 2lbs 8 ounces. Her stay in ICU took a full month. The parents were told that her heart would require surgery Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers after doctors informed her parents that she had the heart shut. Ashley wasn't in need of surgery. After being released, she went home at 4 1/2 pounds following being in hospital for 2 months. She is now healthy. Her father is German-English. Her mother's family is from Ireland. She made her acting debut in a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley was initially approached by the Ford Modeling Agency when she reached the age of eight. In print, she was consistent in her work and is with the Agency. As a young girl Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley went on to do 35 commercials, and then onto stage roles. Ashley had found her passion. Ashley focused all her attention to acting. That left very less time to model and dancing. Ashley's last role on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley was featured in the Romeo Miller video (aka Lil Romeo), along with Solange's track"True Love. Britney Spears appeared during an Vogue Magazine shoot. The actress is in the NLT's "That Girl".
